Pricing Questions We Get Asked Most

Why don't you publish fixed rates?
Because a price without a scope is meaningless. A "$5k/week" rate sounds clear, but what you get for that depends entirely on the problem. We give you a real estimate — backed by a real technical assessment — within 48 hours.
What's the minimum engagement size?
For fixed price projects, our minimum is $5,000. For dedicated teams and T&M, we typically work on engagements of at least 3 months. We want to build something that makes a difference — short one-off tasks aren't our best fit.
Can I switch between models mid-project?
Yes. It's common for projects to start Fixed Price for an MVP, then move to T&M or a Dedicated Team for ongoing development. We handle the transition transparently and it won't disrupt delivery.
What's included in the hourly rate?
Engineering time, internal code reviews, standups, and sprint ceremonies. QA is billed separately at a lower rate. Project management is included in all models. There are no hidden "admin" or "overhead" line items.
How do I know hours are accurate in T&M?
Every engineer logs daily in Harvest or your preferred time-tracking tool. You get full read access — see who worked on what, for how long, and what was produced. Monthly invoices come with a full time log attached.
Is there a long-term contract?
No long-term lock-in. T&M and dedicated team engagements require 30-day notice to exit. Fixed price contracts complete at delivery. We believe our clients stay because the work is good — not because they're contractually stuck.
